Poems on Nature - The Love of Nature "Spring"
The time has come for Spring to unfold her lively self,
And throw off her white winter - kept garment.
Come my precious love, let us walk amidst the beauty hills,
For the snow have transform to water,
And life is alive from its slumber eager to show its beautiful wonders,
Roaming the hills and valleys.
Let us follow the footprints of spring into the natural fields,
And mount the hilltops to draw inspiration high above the cool green plains.
Dawn of spring has unfolded her garment of life,
And place it on the apple and citrus trees and all the fields.
Come my beloved let us kneel to the God of beauty to give thanks,
For all Spring's beauty and life she gives to all.
The sprigs of grapevine embrace each other like sweethearts,
The brooks burst out flowing,
Repeating the sounds of joy and dancing between the rocks.
The flowers bud suddenly from the heart of Spring,
To convey an array of beautiful colors to uplift the spirit within.
Come my lover, let us say goodbye to Winter's tears,
And open our hearts to the ushering in of a new Spring,
And soothe our spirits with showers of natural notes,
From all the wonderful birds,
And sit high above and behold how Spring embellish all.
Poems of Nature - The Love of Nature "Summer"
Come my darling lets make preparation to go into the fields
For the time of harvest draweth nigh
And the eye of the sun is ripping the grains
Let us tend to the fruitful earth
As the creator nourishes the grains
With joy from the seeds of love and laughter
Sowed deep in the ground.
Let us fill our baskets and hearts with products of nature
Behold how life fills so abundantly with her endless bounty
Let us make the flowers our bed
And the sun our blanket
And rest our heads upon pillows of soft hay
Let us rest after the day's toil
And listen to natural sounds of the running brook.
Poems on Nature - The Love of Nature "Autumn"
Come my dear let us go and gather grapes,
In the vineyard for the vine press,
And keep the wine in new vases.
As the spirit keeps wisdom and knowledge in eternal vases,
And pour it into human vessels.
Let's return to our humble abode,
For life is departing from all.
For the wind is causing the yellow leaves to fall,
Come my sweetheart let us return to our dwelling.
For death is shrouding all,
For the birds have made pilgrimage to a sacred place of warmth,
And the prairies suffereth pangs of solitude,
The jasmine and mytle have no more tears.
Let us retreat, for the exhausted brook has ceased its song,
And the bubblesome springs are drained of their copious weeping,
And the natural embellish hills and fields,
Make haste to store away their colorful garments.
Come my lover, nature is justly weary,
And is bidding her enthusiasm farewell,
With her quiet and contented melody.
Poems of Nature - The Love of Nature "Winter"
Come close to me, oh companion of my soul,
Come close to me and let not winter's touch enter between us.
Sit by me to join our hearts,
For fire is the best fruit for winter.
Whisper to me of the glory of your heart,
For this is greater than the elements beyond our door.
Let us bind the door and seal the windows,
For the vicious countenance of Winter depresses my spirit,
And the appearance of our snow laden fields makes my soul weep.
Quench the lamp with oil and let it not go dim,
And place it right by you, so I can read whats written upon your face.
Bring Autumn's wine,
Let us drink and sing of remembrance to Spring's carefree sowing,
And Summer's watchful tending,
And Autumn's rewarding harvest.
O beloved of my soul, embrace me,
The fire is cooling and fleeing under the ashes.
Stay close my dear, for I fear loneliness,
Behold the lamp is dimming,
And the wine which we press is slowly sending us to rest,
Now our eyes are closing let us look at each other before they are shut.
Find me with your arms and embrace me just once more,
Kiss me my beloved one for Winter has stolen all.
You are close to me and I always by you,
Now let's enter the ocean of slumber,
And wait for a radiant new dawn.
